Tourgrin — booking tours & travel
without the overwhelm.
The brief
Tourgrin set out to become the all-in-one platform for travel and tour booking — competing in a space dominated by Airbnb Experiences and GetYourGuide. The product needed to feel premium and trustworthy while staying simple enough for first-time users.
The challenge
Travel booking is complexity by nature: dates, group sizes, itineraries, payments. The core tension was complexity vs. clarity — handling all of it without overwhelming the user at any stage of the journey.
My approach
I mapped the full user journey from discovery to post-booking and identified the three or four moments where travel flows most often lose people. Each became a design target: reduce friction, build confidence, make the next step obvious. The resulting design system is built for clarity — strong hierarchy, progressive disclosure, and a mobile-first responsive layout.
