Converge — collaboration

The brief
Converge needed distributed team collaboration to feel effortless. The product handled complex multi-user workflows — real-time editing, task management, async communication — but the interface was making it harder, not easier.
The challenge
Too many features, no clear hierarchy. Users were spending more time navigating the product than using it. The job was to surface the right features at the right time, without stripping power-user capability.
My approach
I ran a UX audit and identified the ten most-used features. Those became the primary interface. Everything else moved to progressive disclosure — available when needed, invisible when not. The result: a cleaner interface with the same capability, and noticeably less onboarding friction.
